Antique & Glazed

Glazed Chimney Pots

Architecture, architectural designs, and the individual tastes of people vary from country to country and culture to culture. Glazed chimney pots are very practical as they enhance the drafting capacity of the chimney. They are also aesthetically pleasing as they complement the architectural lines and dimensions of a home. Discovering the type of chimney pot that matches your architecture and suits your personal tastes is easy.

Besides the natural clay material (terracotta color), 11 other selections are options. You may choose blue limestone, grey limestone, slate grey, brownstone, brick red, charcoal, black glaze buff, salt glaze, and antique glaze. Each of these glazed chimney pots are put through an intricate and well thought out process of glazing, drying, and curing to insure the glazing is finished correctly. Some finishes, such as the antique finish, require as much as four weeks for complete drying and finishing times. Other glazed pots can be delivered within a two week period of time.

Clay chimney pot size and style are the primary components that will determine the amount of time required for adequate quality. Some finishes can be accomplished through mechanical means, but others must be “hands on” requiring the careful skill of  a highly trained craftsman.
